Hilbig partially threaded studs Type PD are used in drawn arc stud welding and are suitable for applications requiring high load capacity and a secure screwed connection with a partial thread. The studs are manufactured according to DIN EN ISO 13918 and are available in various thread sizes and standard lengths. Due to the partial thread, they are particularly suited for applications requiring a smooth shank section in addition to a reliable weld joint. Depending on the application, various materials and surface coatings are available.
